BioWelcome! This journal serves to document the arrival of our third (and final!) child; we are currently in the process of adopting from Ethiopia. We have two amazing, beautiful children, so added to the two of us as mommy and daddy...baby makes five. And five? Five is my *favorite* number. <3
At this point in time, all entries will be "friends only" due to the nature of the adoption process.
The Patiently Waiting Family:
Mommy. 28. Full time SAHM to two of the most amazing children on this earth. Madly in love with her amazing firefighter/paramedic husband. Blessed with the most wonderful friends a girl could have. Eagerly awaiting her third angel. Loves writing, reading, body modificiation, yoga, laughing, and anything veg*n.
Daddy. 25. Dad to the best kids in the whole world. Married to his soulmate. Loves taking care of stuff around the house, giving piggy back rides, making creatures out of Playdoh, woodworking, and Home Depot. Can't wait to meet his third child.
Bear. 3. Loves his mommy, daddy, and sister. Born in 2006 and adopted by daddy in 2007. Loves Thomas the Tank Engine, anything with firefighters, building huge towers out of blocks, The Wonder Pets, and playing with his sister.
Beauty. 2. Loves her brother, mommy, and daddy. Born in 2007 in Guatemala and welcomed home that same December. Loves anything to do with Dora, My Little Pony, being outside, wearing dresses, shopping, and playing with her brother.
In addition to the four of us, we have a tremendous support system of core people in our lives. The four of us are very richly blessed and can't wait to share our lives with our sweet new family member, whenever he or she shall may find us. :)
